Abstract

This study aims to assess the financial literacy of elementary and secondary public school teachers in the Surigao del Norte Division, Philippines. The research focuses on four indicators: savings and borrowing, investment; insurance; and retirement planning. It determines the financial literacy level and its relationship when grouped according to its profile variables. The study utilizes a quantitative research design using regression analysis and descriptive statistics using mean,  standard deviation, correlation, and percentages. The result will be used to develop necessary intervention programs to increase the teachers' financial literacy for sustainable development
